Performing Hajj
Walking: If you are not familiar with regular physical activity, such as exercise or sport, you should start walking regularly before Hajj, running a 4km target walk at the same time.
Traveling in your own car: If traveling in your own car, then you can not enter the city of Mecca, no matter which route you take, you are guided to park your car in Hajj purpose built parking for this route. You will find taxis and buses from Hajj Parking to the Makkah city. You will have to return to this place after the Hajj, so write the exact location of your car. It's not an easy task to find your camp in Mina, so I recommend you stay with your group.
Personal cars are not allowed inside the city of Mecca -
Locations:
Ask your service provider to give you the Hajj accommodation places in Makkah, Madina, Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah, ideally co-ordinating GPS so you can see them on Google Maps. It's useful in case you lose or want to travel alone. It will also give you an idea of how well the places (near the train stations and Jamarah).
Transport:
Ask your Hajj service provider about the transport method they will provide for traveling within Saudi Arabia:
When performing Tawaf: There are 5 locations to perform Tawaf in Haram, you can choose the appropriate location:
When performing Rami: It is recommended to choose the 3rd or 4th Jamaraat floor to avoid the crowd.
Crisis:
For any crisis in the Makkah region, you can call the emergency number: 911
For medical services (ambulance) you can call the KSA Red Crescent emergency number: 997.
Wheelchair in Mecca. You would find pharmacies there, but it is expected to be expensive. For a cheaper price of chair wheels, you can take a taxi and visit Azizia area near City Plaza, there is a large Nahadi pharmacy and there are also other pharmacies. There is a cheaper option to go to Kakiya where you can find wholesale stores, but this space is far from haram.

- From Jeddah airport to Makkah (and vice versa)
- From Haram to Mine (and vice versa)
- We took less than an hour on the bus provided by our Hajj agent
- We took a private bus from Mina to Haram for another occasion and they accused us SR50 / pen
- We take a taxi Haram to Mina on another occasion raised SR50 but left us far from our camp because taxis were not right beyond the point so it was not very useful
- From Mine to Arafat (We took 1.5 hours on foot and by train)
- From Arafat to Muzdalifah (We took 2.5 hours on foot and by train)
- From Muzdalifah to Mina (It took us 1 hour on foot and by train)
- From Makkah to Madina (and vice versa)

- Mataf, which is closer to Kaba (open air)
- Basement
- Ground floor
- 1st Floor (We took 1.5 hours to perform Tawaf ul Widah)
- 2nd floor (outdoors)
- Basement
- Ground floor (busiest)
- 1st floor (less full)
- 2nd floor (less full)
